We monitor compliance with these rules, and reserve the right to block future bookings from anyone who has not shown respect to others or to our facility.

Rules

  • Arrival
    • Observe speed limits on site, and give priority to pedestrians
    • Do not enter the outer gate while the previous booking is still inside
    • Please don't arrive more than 5 minutes before your start time.
  • Dog poo
    • Please bring your own poo bags, preferably biodegradeable
    • Please watch your dog, then bag and dispose of their poo in the bins provided
  • Supervision
    • Your dog(s) must be supervised at all times, from within the fence
    • There must be no more than 5 dogs per handler
  • Booking changes
    • If you no longer want your booking, we cannot offer refunds
    • You can let someone else use your booking, but they must be a registered customer (to be held accountable for any misconduct)
  • Damage, loss or injury
    • You will be expected to cover the cost of any damage you cause to the facilities
    • If your dog is a digger, please make good any earthworks before leaving
    • Do not climb on the fences or gates
    • You use the dog fields at your own risk.
    • Vehicles and contents are left at their owner's risk.
    • We accept no responsibility for loss or injury incurred on site unless prescribed at law.
  • Respect
    • Please show respect to other users of the dog fields and users of neighbouring facilities as well as to our staff
    • We will not tolerate mistreatment of dogs within the fields

Health and Welfare

  • Your dog(s) must be wormed and have all vaccinations up to date, whether on a fixed schedule or through titre testing
  • Please rinse out the drinking bowl after use
  • We have checked all the plants sown on the fields both for toxicity to dogs and for causing skin conditions. A couple would be toxic to a dog that ate a whole bag of the seeds, but none are harmful in any realistic scenario.

Restricted Dogs

The following conditions apply to dogs of the types listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and to any dog subject to a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO), Community Protection Notice or similar Court Orders under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, or any replacement legislation:
  • Before booking, you must ensure we have:
    • a copy of a valid public liability insurance certificate for the dog
    • a copy of the registration certificate for the dog or the order exempting it from the applicable legislation
  • When entering the exercise field, the dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled until both airlock gates are shut
  • The restricted-dog to handler ratio must be 1 to 1 at all times
  • No socialization with other dogs, unless from the same household with no aggression history
  • When leaving the exercise field, the dog must be put back on a lead and muzzled before opening any gate
